I thought it was the job of an attorney to represent their client to the best of their ability? If so maintaining a good working relationship with others in the justice system seems like a grand idea.

I don’t think the allegations levied against the attorney(s) if true would constitute legal representations of their clients.

This would be more akin to bribing a judge.
