I am definitely not a Lawyer, but couldn't the NCAA fight the Sherman Act by opening up and letting players go directly into the NFL. Thus ending the monopoly they have on college football athletes?

the NFL are the ones that don't let players go straight from HS.
It's their rule that you have to be 3 years out from graduating HS.

The NCAA has nothing to do with when players can go to the NFL. That's an NFL rule

The NFL is a private business that has set the requirements for eligibility to enter the draft. There is no rule or law to challenge

There’s also no monopoly they have on college athletes. There are plenty of other football leagues, they just happen to be the one that pays the most and is better than the others. Caleb Williams is free to sign with the XFL or CFL if he wants

Could you imagine a world where the NFL is worse than the 90s NBA in speculation and spending and Arch Manning gets a $30 million contract out of high school based on Tulip mania...now that would be entertaining....and destroy the league.

You are definitely not a lawyer. When players enter the NFL is an NFL rule. The NCAA has nothing to do with it.
