I watched it the other night again. In the coin flip scene it looked like Jack Links Jerky on the shelves. Did they have that back then?

Was it set in 1980 or so.

I worked at a convenience store between my senior year of HS and freshman year of college (1990). Remember one of the vendors coming in and giving us samples
of this “new” beef jerky.
