re: Has Biden cured cancer yet?
to this cancer survivor, your partisan obfuscation on this issue is tiresome
Right. It is equally as offensive to see one person snidely saying “next time one of your your loved ones dies from cancer, blame the Republicans” to score political points as it is to see the OP derisive...
It's really hard when Republicans defund the initiative. Go look at the budget.

Yes, Republicans are why Biden has not yet cured cancer. That's it.
I don’t believe that is what the poster is trying to say. I think he is referring to the fact that there was...
If they would have done a few of things differently, it could have been a very good episode. Completely get rid of Jar Jar and all of his people. Anakin should have been about 12 or 13 and a better actor. Don’t make the droid army so comic relief slapstick. Mainly get rid of the silliness...

re: Which is the most forgettable state?

I thought about the forgettable president question this morning too. The best way to actually find the answer to both questions would be to have people list all the Presidents/States and see which ones were left out most often....
Abbott messed up in conflating two issues. He can personally condemn what he deems hate speech but can't and shouldn't have anyone arrested for it
Much like Landry with the LSUWBB/National Anthem situation, he hastily issued a statement because he was primarily concerned with scori...
That’s absolutely not true. The ABC Board makes a ton of money for the state of Alabama.

It may be in the black and creating revenue but you have to ask yourself where does the money actually go. They claim if the lottery bill is passed, 100% of revenue would go to educa...
After all the evidence we have it’s clear we don’t need Trump or Biden two old cognitively declining fools who are easily manipulated
Honestly, anyone who doesn’t agree with this statement is either ignorant or a fool. If you want to argue that one is a lesser evil than the othe...

Honestly, I thought the only non-loons they interviewed in that entire video were the two Jewish girls….until they went back to the one the second time who said she was “scared to go to class”…like wtf. The green haired guy at the beginning sounded like he had memorized what he was saying right b...
The freaking ABC board needs to be abolished yesterday. The ultimate waist in tax payer money.
That’s absolutely not true. The ABC Board makes a ton of money for the state of Alabama. Now, if you want to argue it’s anti-competitive and ultimately not good for consumers, fine....

Alabama Legislators vote to raise taxes

Posted by lsusa on 5/4/24 at 4:07 pm
Hopefully Auntie Kay-Kay ain’t going to sign this. The bill essentially argues that by raising taxes on consumers it’s going to help “other businesses compete”. Liquor at ABC stores will still be cheaper. The only reasons people go to non-ABC stores is because of location, convenience and ho...

re: Ancient civilizations. Y or N?

Modern humans have been around for a few hundred thousand years. Recorded “history” as it were starts about 5500 years ago. As you mention, Göbekli Tepe was inhabited about 12,000 years ago. It wasn’t discovered until 1963 and excavated until the mid 1990s. One of the things to consider was ...
Question: Are we cousins by any chance? ?
I’m related to some, but they’re out of Kansas, not the group from Mississippi. But supposedly, per that article all are descended from one guy Abraham who came over to America in the early 1600s....
So as written, Cheers is not in the conversation. And Rebecca wasn't that likeable either. Hell Sam could be unlikable. The only constant was Woody and Coach.
I agree with you that Rebecca - while not as bad as Diane - wasn’t very likable either. Cliff was obviously meant to be an...
