Recruiting is still necessary. You have to consider the new UCLA schedule will have them playing half of their season on the other side of the country.


Even USC isn't killing it under Riley on the recruiting trail.

Would love it if they stole D'Anton Lynn back from USC, especially since LSU plays them game 1.

Culture fit is uber important at UCLA. I don't see the power brokers at UCLA signing off on Mullen.

Since the school’s President is in his last year, the AD will likely not make through the transition they should go interim. Ken Norton Jr.

Current AD is pushing for David Shaw. Nebraska’s Tony White would be a slam dunk hire, but he might not take the job.

This is not a good job right now. The school, president, and athletic Director will not likely be in the same position a year from today.

They have no NIL money, football facilities are crap, and their recruiting class was among the worst in the power for schools. Plus they’re moving to the Big Ten this upcoming season.
