I never said it would be packed. But it’d be multiple times greater than the 1800 you will get at 2:00 on a workday (minus opening day).

You're just complaining for the sake of complaining at this point. It's what 2-3 games out of the entire home schedule?

He's selfish, and will be one of probably quite a few complaining about the start time once they figure out the game starts at 2. Just mad because they can't get out of their shift at McDonald's by 2. Screw trying to keep our players free from injury, screw trying to be sure we get in all of our games, they want to be able to watch.... Mainly so they can find something else to complain about.

A lot of games in the SECT and Omaha are played during the day in addition to night games. Think Coach is just trying to get them ready

Jay would rather play in front of zero fans than to not play. He would love to have a full stadium, but his priority is to get all of the innings in. It's the same reason that he hates the run-rule for non-conference games.

Jay is passionate about developing his players, and missing games or innings due to weather inhibits that.

Haha, look at the down votes for making a statement that is 100% factual and backed up by data.

My guess is that the downvote are coming more from you crying like a bitch in this thread, rather than the substance of one singular post.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem?

What part of the weather this time of year is very unpredictable and JJ wants to make it as easy as possible for LSU to get games played, so he schedules the LSU games early do you not understand?

Just because ell is gone, doesn’t mean you have to be his level of retarded.

Just an example of why I love this place sometimes...and hate this place sometimes.

The first 8 home games (All in February) have first pitch at either 2pm or 1pm.

IMO, playing in the daytime in February makes sense. In March, our weekday home games are at night.

And half of those are on Saturday and Sunday which would be afternoon games no matter what. So we’re talking about a couple of games outside of opening day.

Because JJ said so, and we do what he says since he seems to have a great reason for just about every decision made.

I really don’t think the staff is concerned with attendance one way or the other for February warm up games.

Remember that Kentucky game in the Regional where he called his only rain delay even though it was sunny and we didn’t play until 9pm?

Where was this epidemic of players getting hurt in the first or second weekend due to weather? When in the last decade have we not been able to get games in because of weather in February?

If you want to make sure you have room to maneuver games due to weather, don’t bring in two other teams for the weekend series. Just play one team on the weekend like the rest of college baseball has done for 50 years. The only reason there could be any issues or moving a game around the weather is because we have extra games being played by two other opponents on our field the same weekend.
