Rumor around Farmerville is, his sister got jumped and he and his boys were gonna go handle business. It obviously didn't go as planned. (Shocking)

This is terrible for Holly, whom I expected to be a part of a top notch RB group at LSU over the next few years.
Didn't look at all 17 pages of posts, but I saw the first post about this matter from I believe a local source in Farmerville a few days ago, before that thread was pulled. So he scooped everyone.

I’m an attorney and I was born and raised in the area. I also had an office and practiced law in the area for nearly a decade and can say with utter and complete confidence that your assumption couldn’t be more wrong…
Local law enforcement constantly over charges folks without any justification or forethought. Then the prosecutor is left to figure out whether there is any evidence to actually support the original charge and often have to also determine whether the defendant should have ever been charged at all.
I am not suggesting whether Holly is guilty or innocent. However, rural law enforcement in Union Parish would hesitate to charge a dozen different guys for the Kennedy assassination without taking to first check and see that 9 hadn’t even been born yet….
GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Where did you escape to? Dry Prong? LSU has plenty of running backs and will be fine. Holly can always talk about the old days when he's on the yard or buying crap in the canteen at ..... An unfortunate situation but, no huge surprise, is it?

If he played for Alabama would you be giving him the benefit of the doubt.? Hell no you wouldn’t!

Attempted murder?
Maybe we should have tried him at linebacker.

This is so poorly written that it's hard to discern your intent but a literal reading actually supports my point. They "would hesitate", just as they hesitated for six days before charging Holly. They're going into this knowing it's the most high-profile case of their careers. And again, your logic seems arse-backwards but your writing is too much of a jumbled mess to judge it fairly. Good luck with your "legal career".

What do you consider plenty? Because the are currently 2 scholarship running backs on LSU’s campus.

I can almost say with certainty, casings found at the scene match his gun, not to mention he was ID’d by more than one person at the scene

You can criticize Ramsey’s writing if you wish, but his point is well taken.
Overcharging is so common, it is hard to assess much about the defendant’s conduct or the quality of the evidence.
I think I’ll wait before drawing conclusions.

Very true, overcharging is a technique used to try to force a plea bargain that favors the state. Like asking more than you reasonably expect to get for a used car with the intent to negotiate down to a price acceptable to you.

I saw some of that on twitter. One of those bright minds spelled difference “deference”; Louisiana education system needs an upgrade

I don’t understand how this is what’s being reported, but then he states that he was at home & is 100% innocent.
I guess it could be a Brandon Miller situation, seems like that detail would have already come out though. Interested to see this one play out in the courtroom
