Is Braswell the best option at SS?

How has Milam looked at Short Stop?
If Milam does become SS does Person play 2nd base well enough to be everyday 2nd base.
Reason for question is J. Brown has looked good and Bingham too. Both LF and RF with Kling in Center.
Milam looks like the everyday 2nd Baseman. If Braswell doesn't start hitting (I am sure he will) but if he doesn't just wondering if Milam at Short and Pearson at 2nd could be an everyday solution.

Need a larger sample size, but Milam looked just as capable today and is a much better skilled hitter.

Did Braswell cuck you?

I’m confused on if you are watching games or not. You are asking if Milam can play SS and if Pearson can play 2nd. But then you say that Brown and Bingham have looked good and that Milam looks good at 2nd

Milam at either spot will work. We have no shortage of fielders it appears. Milam can even cover third if needed.

Milam is a ball player. He could be our everyday SS

SS at LSU is like the QB for the football team - the backup is almost always THE guy fans want. Until he's not the backup and then it's the other guy.

Two days in a row, Pearson and Milam have made some spectacular relay throws to get the runner at the bag.
And their both good hitters in the box. I dont know how it will play out with Braswell but he needs to hit or we are better off having Milam at short, Pearson at 2nd, and Frey or whoever can get some hitting going in Right.
Braswell is fine fielding his position, but if he doesn't produce at the plate he is getting passed up.

Every year the rant picks someone to hate. This season it’s Braswell

There's no point in trying to settle your lineup in February. All of these guys are going to get playing time to see where things settle in April. Players will slump, players will get hot, SEC scouts will learn how to pitch to our freshmen, etc. Just sit back and watch the guys play these glorified practices and stop trying to draw conclusions in February

Brasswell will get every opportunity to play himself out of the SS position. Today we saw the first signs of that, although he will be given plenty more opportunities.
I'll say this, I was impressed with Millam at SS. He had all routine plays, but he made the routine look routine. He is not prototypical in size to what I see an LSU SS being, but he did look good out there today. That shortens Braswells leash some

Milam has to get reps as he is SS2. I don’t think it’s anything more then that at this point

Yes, give him a few more games.
Do not doubt anything CJ does just yet. He has proven himself. I respect his decisions until we plummet to a losing season.

Neither Pearson nor Braswell is a great hitter. Neither will be a 300 plus hitter. I don’t think either of them should be an every game player.

What we need is the closest to a clone of Milam. I don’t wanna see any liabilities at the plate this season. Tired of that shite!
