The problem for LSUWBB is that the SEC teams we are beating are NOT highly regarded, ranked, or have a high NET.

The PAC12 and to a lesser degree the Big 10, have multiple teams with higher NET rankings.

Losing to Auburn and State has really hurt our standing along with our weak OOC schedule.

We beat Virginia Tech by 20.

They are ranked 5 spots ahead of us and we both have 4 losses.

All of this is true, but at some point some of these humans on the committee have to actually watch games and not rely solely on metrics.

No sane individual can look at LSU and say we aren't one of the 12 best teams in the nation, regardless of what the computer says.

Yet the SEC is projected to have 8 or 9 teams make the NCAA Tournament right now. But we're playing nobody
