What a disappointing end. Lack of shooting and defense finally caught up to us.
Van Lith is the most disappointing player of the year. Seems like a good kid, but she has been just dreadful as a passer and shooter.

Tigers looked gassed this half
Never seen so many ice-cold brick-shots across the board - worst shooting game of the year I'll bet
Iowa's zone got them more rebounds
Thought Flau'Jae and 1 other person would be bigger
HVL (sick or not) as usual getting overpowered and more TOs/bad passes than 3s/assists - just lost as a PG - a DISASTER esp this game

2 things I've noticed watching the first women's bball game in a few years.
1. The girl/women players complain after every single thing that doesn't go their way. I see Clark just obviously traveled and throws her hands up and complains. I've seen that happen 50 times this game. It's when anything doesn't go their way they throw their hands up to the ref
2. It's very much like 6th grade basketball in that all the players are just standing under the rim, chunking up lay ups, miss, defense has their hands up the entire time flat footed never leaving the ground, 8 players under the rim, another chunk up, another miss. Once they're under the rim, no one tries to kick it back out or create any separation. It's just 8 bodies with hands up with one chunk up after another. That's like 75% of the game.
