We prefer British Airways. Never had a problem US to Europe and within Europe.
Although our last trip we flew AA due to timing and we found the 2 AA employees who actually like their job. The gate agent at DFW and the counter agent at LHR. Both were exceptional.

In the US I usually flew American. Flying to Europe I used Delta and Australia I liked Qantas.

Dude O'Hare is just not that bad. When people get huffy about O'Hare I know they're not frequent flyers. There are far worse airports (Newark, Frankfurt, etc...)

DELTA domestically
I fly to SE Asia for work some .. and love the Qatar through Doha route

I worked for an Aussie company for awhile and went over every other month for a bit. While I had no complaints with Qantas, Kiwi Air (NZ) was significantly better

I try to fly Delta. PNS is home airport, so we pretty much have to connect to a hub to get anywhere. AA is expanding their footprint at AA with more direct flights to the NE.
However, if we're flying West, we usually fly AA so we can connect through DFW vs ATL. Do not like flying East to ATL to then fly back over and West.
AA flight to Miami from PNS is a great quick shot.
Not a fan of United unless flying direct to IAH.

United was probably the worst business class I've done, though still better than flying economy anywhere.
The best part was this flight was the backend of a trip after flying an Asian carrier outbound.
United was (maybe still is) known for its ice cream cart in business class, and watching the smug look on the flight attendant's face as if she was blessing us with the tears of God when she rolled that out was something to behold after experiencing quite a lackluster product up until that point.
To their credit, the ice cream was indeed good.

Delta is my preferred, but I usually just fly whatever offers the best times/value.

Delta as much as possible (based in MSP).

We all got the drink package given to us for free. Oldest son got engaged on cruise, they threw a party with staff and us. Champagne and the chef made a cake and cookies.
Staff on cruise was top notch

for living in lafayette, united through houston is our most convenient option. we have been lucky and not had issues.

Oh yeah, let's park 5 737s with 150+ PAX each into a gate area with 140 seats (I counted.) ORD has popcorn, I'll give it that.
Both EWR and FRA are better transit points, and at least FRA isn't subject to the weather induced issues to ORD or EWR. FRA has apparently no water fountains, and you may walk a lot, but I'll take that over the risk of getting done dirty in ORD, EWR, MSP, any day.
I prefer transfers happening in foreign countries, over US airports. If MPC happens to be closed in IAH (I think that was once in the last 200k) when I land, I'm not missing a flight, unlike SFO, LAX, ORD, EWR, etc.

I can count on one hand, and it's not five, the number of delays I've had at ORD, and I've lived here for a decade. Luck of the draw, I guess.

How much longer does that take you than going over the Pacific?

I’m loyal to delta which is why their new changes in their status program are a bummer.
Exactly this.
I will say, I've been flying British Airways a lot in the past 18 months. No glaring complaints other than the food.

Based on where we live, it’s either AA or United for us depending non where we are going. I prefer AA and their point system.

You're clearly flying East repeatedly.
American has sucked, and United got the CEO from them.
Middle Eastern airlines do things like blur out kippas in in flight movies. Even Turkish didn't.
