Anorexia nervousa is treated as a mental health disorder, but not trans.
Would mental health professionals tell an Anorexia patient, “Yes, you are fat and you need to lose weight. Maybe you should eat less and exercise more.” No, they wouldn’t.
So why do they do it to the mentally ill trans?

There are a lot of men who think it's ok to harm women during sex, like hitting and choking them without consent.
Younger men are seeing it and hurting young women. I think there's a lot of women who don't want to be a victim of male violence and transgender options become more acceptable.

That is some parents entire world that is gone in a flash and now they are hurting worse than anyone ever should.
Was a beautiful little girl who had her wires crossed somewhere along the way and ended up in a very dark place and couldn't make it out.
May God grant them peace.
The parent who replied with the trans child, wish you nothing but grace in dealing with that. You mentioned how if you didn't embrace it, it would drive them into the waiting arms of others who would encourage and accept it...to me that is the real issue, being undermined by a society that sees nothing wrong with, or refuses to reject or condemn anything abhorrent aka:
Trans
Addiction
Kink/sexuality
Weight/health
Mental illness
Laziness
Victimhood
List goes on and on.
