They're going to have to start relying on some of the thousands of immigrants who flow through their country.

As their economy develops, this becomes less true every day.
This is exactly why they're facing issues with finding farm workers and why illegal immigration to the US from Mexicans has been in decline for some time.
Having Canada, the US, and a developed Mexico will create global economic security and dominance from North America. It's great for the US and will protect our economic positioning as the dominant global economy for some time.
