Go set your ac3 degrees below room temp, then measure air temp out of vent

Then set it 8 degrees below room temp and measure air temp out of vent

When the temp reading is the same 55 or so degrees come back to the thread and hand in your man card

Same here. We have those special AC units that defy physics.

This only works if you have a relatively modern unit that will adjust to the demand with a multi-stage compressor and/or a variable speed fan in the air handler. The temperature differential for the higher demand call is typically 3 to 5 degrees. Probably very rare in units that are 25 years or older.

You already knew this but you also need to know your audience.

It's amazing that a grown man really believes this. Gleason come back in this thread to receive your medicine. If you have ever had AC troubles ever in your life you would know this is not the case.
