You are right. On the chart below you would expect the 2021 flu numbers to be up at the start of the year with all the prior years but the flu numbers started out at zero for the first time in 2021.

The article's reasoning for the disappearance of COVID in 2021 is wrong but their presentation that it did disappear was correct. Medical folks were just calling the flu, COVID to participate in the government grift. They needed to get those COVID numbers up.

The explanation for that was "the spead of the flu was stopped cuz of muh masks."

Yes absolutely this! One prime Covid year and the flu magically pauses for that year. Doesn’t seem real…does it?
