I think my congressman, Andy Biggs, voted against it both times.

Massie is typically right, but that makes him a common target of a certain political echo chamber who is the dominant population on here.

Geez. The Speaker is on live now with Trump backing him up. Good grief!

Trump has always supported FISA
Gaetz did until it became a political opportunity to pretend he didn't
Trump's FBI director was the one saying the 4A was a national security issue a few days ago

Nobody wants to give that power up.
Several years ago I heard that "FISA goes both ways", but so far I haven't seen any evidence that that is the case.

All he does is write letters, tweets and cast votes. All bark, bro!

Thomas Massie argued pretty hard on the House floor in support of Kevin McCarthy immediately preceding the vote to remove. Some might even say it was a rather impassioned presentation.
Not that I’m making any point for or against anyone. Just food for thought.

Pathetically small number

You’re certainly not making a point.

Who gives a frick?
The obsession with Kevin McCarthy is so strange. It should be clear by now that focusing on him meant nothing and ousting him did even less.
Matt Gaetz not only did the Democrats bidding, but his tirade against KM is clearly nothing more than virtue signaling...oh and he voted to extend FISA in 2018.

You’re half right. There’s certainly an underlying point in principle, but it may not be discernible by some folks. My apologies if that’s you.
With all due respect.

Well, what exactly was Massie's argument in favor of keeping KM speaker?

It's been a bad month for Matt Gaetz. I don't see the peacocking on here for him lately. Just a lot of cope posts about how Johnson has to have been compromised.

It was hilarious when Trump bitched about FISA for years… then signed its extension.
