Seems like both pilots were on it, good for them.

Seems like a case of bad coordination between the tower and ground controllers.

Problem is these are on two separate freqs so the pilots had no situational awareness of what was happening elsewhere on the field.

Glad it ended with no tragedy.

Hard for lay people to figure out root cause. You think there would be the latest control technology being used extensively to keep runway accidents from happening. Unfortunately, I don't think that's the case. Can anyone in that industry shed some light on this?

Runway incursion because of a coordination failure between local and ground control. If she got permission to send the aircraft across than it is the local controllers fault if not it is the ground controllers fault. The tower team concept failed in this instance.

I honestly feel sorry for black people that are not DEI hires, but are getting associated with the DEI hires.

DEI is propagated in their airline industry to deliberately sabotage it and dampen people's motivation to fly. Make no mistake. They can't outright stop letting people fly so they slowly dismantle the expectations of flying.

When you take into account that these ATC controllers have to coordinate hundreds of flights every single day, someone who’s tired and fatigued from a long 10 hour shift is bound to make a careless mistake.

My son applied for an ATC position, crushed the hiring tests, waited almost 2 years for a class date while slogging through drug testing, psych testing, background testing, fingerprinting, etc, etc, etc. Finally gave up and got his Dispatch license and is working for Air Wisconsin.

Watch the news and they will tell you how critically short staffed the FAA Controllers are???

Mainstream media needs to ask the tough questions about why the FAA isn't streamlining the process to get controllers hired and qualified.

Just sayin.

Everyone in the tower is diverse with no qualificatios or skills. Both controllers gave hesitant instructions indicating the were unsure of their actions. How about returning to requiring controllers to have education and skills instead of DEI? These people are in charge of our lives.
