Cargo(Part 121), Part 91, and Part 135 all have open cockpit policies. Not too far of a reach to say that charters on Part 121 carriers have access to the cockpit. Sitting in the seat, meh, that has some explaining to do but I believe both pilots keep their jobs.
ETA: I think this is a nothing burger but because of social media it is a bigger deal than it needs to be.
