If you think that menu is bad stay far away from Cheesecake Factory, it will blow your mind. It’s like an old school phone book.

What questions did you have that she couldn’t answer?

it was a really difficult question, i told her give me a steak and baked potato

thats the question she had no immediate answer for

that is how convoluted the menu has gotten, even she had to think for a second how to order that

1997 Laffy Outback alum here lol. I would always snag a couple of petals off of a Bloomin Onion before running it. Cheese fries too. Must have eaten a TON of that bread.

It’s not a question. Why would she have an answer for it?

You said your mom wanted steak and lobster. You didn’t say that she chose Outback. Which is it?

Sounds like your waitress was too intelligent for you and you were intimidated. “Give me a steak and baked potato “ does not require an answer, but rather a series of questions: 1. Which fricking steak? 2. What fricking doneness? 3. What do you want on your fricking potato?

You’re lucky she didn’t just bring you a well done hamburger steak with a dry potato.

no it wasnt a question, it was what i ordered

and she had no clue how to order a simple steak and baked potato, anyone would think that is an easy order.

Did you specify what steak you wanted from the options?

they only have 3 options for steak, sirloin, ribeye, or NY strip, each gives you a choice of bone in or bone out.

after i realized there was little to no options other than those 3 i told her just give me the sirloin with baked potato, and she had to think about how to order something that simple

they are just geared up for making choices about side items and treat the steaks like they are the side item since there isnt much to chose about them other then how its cooked.

they arent a steak place any more, they are a bloomin onion and side items restaurant that also has a couple of steaks on the menu

they only have 3 steaks on its menu, so i guess i understand why the steak section of the menu is so small and well hidden on the menu when they make their money when you order sides

last time i went about 15 years ago there was 10-12 steaks on the menu
