They don’t have a filet anymore? Porterhouse?Prime rib? Dang the times have changed.

I just check the online menu for my local outback.

Options include:
Filet Shelia (which is medallions with topings).
Filet Mignon.
Center Cut Sirloin
Ribeye
Bone in Ribeye
New York Strip
Porterhouse.

What I take from all of this is that the OP went to a steakhouse and was not able to read a menu well enough to find the steaks and then came here and complained.

I feel dumber for partaking in this thread.

after i realized there was little to no options other than those 3 i told her just give me the sirloin with baked potato, and she had to think about how to order something that simple

What do you mean and she had to think how to order something that simple?

Sorry I'm not buying your story. This just sounds like an old man yells at the clouds story

1990s chain restaurants are long dead man. It's too difficult to turn a profit for absent owners, corporations, and shareholders at a sit down cheap food restaurant. They just cant do it. So the quality is minimum and the prices are high. That's why everyone shits on chain restaurants and there's been a push for eating local, at least the owner is probably there and taking an interest in how his business is doing. The chains have all gone fast casual. They can turn you over in 5 minutes for roughly the same price and they dont have to maintain a large building, staff, or kitchen.

Still think the food is good for the price point.

I have a Texas Roadhouse and an Outback about 10 minutes from my house (a couple of blocks apart). I always thought Texas Roadhouse was much better at that price point. Haven't been to either in years, so I don't know if that's the same, anymore.
