Starting to realizing we just have too many holes in line up to win consistently.
Why/Who
Kling and Pearson having disappointing performances
Brasswell is not SEC SS defensively
Other than White Jones and Monster no one else has shown consistency every game. Rotation of Brown Frey Neal not working. Travinski ok but not great.
Like to see more of Akenhausen and Herring starting. Think JJ has lost faith in Gavin
It’s not for trying but not one move by coach has worked
Plus not sure if data but this team has to have more Ks than any other Tiger team I can remember

Thought it might have been our tough schedule

In general, I agree with your premise. This team has very little margin for error. If one part falters, there's not another part that's gonna compensate. We seem to pay double for every failure.
FTR, Larson has been pretty consistent too.

Love Larson too though! Excellent hitter

Yeah we simply aren’t a good team.
We’re all just hoping beyond hope that they turn it on cause we’re fans.

This has been a thing since SEC play started

His lack of playing time should be a clue as to how good of a SS he is.

He must suck bad if he can’t play better than Braswell.

Well yeah.
Only 3 current teams have more Ks than LSU: Arkansas, Wake Forest, and Florida State.
Another level of “well that’s interesting “, is that all 4 teams have about the same innings pitched: 351.1, 353.1, 351.2, and 353.
Yet another level is that among all 4, LSU has the 3rd fewest walks and the least hit batters.
Only Wake Forest has a worse ERA, but not by much - 4.99 compared to LSU’s 4.90
