How well would the U.S.population actually fare in an all-out war today?

A huge percentage of our population is very obese, a huge percentage takes anti-depressants, a huge percentage is incredibly selfish and spoiled and won’t sacrifice anything for the betterment of someone else, and we’ve allowed women to have too much power and input on things that are better left to men.
I think we might be in a rude awakening, and everything would go downhill into a shitshow pretty quickly if an enemy like China invaded.

First of all, the US is basically impregnable, so it would be war elsewhere.
Secondly, we aren't Russia. We don't win wars by throwing waves of infantry and ground forces over and over again at our goal.

We should be concerned about the West’s ability to operate as a wartime economy. We don’t have the industrial base to support a full out war. We’re seeing a glimpse of that with our support for Ukraine against Russia’s economy. Now imagine us against China. Just look at the discrepancy in ship building capacity.

Poorly. We have alot of guns but very few are organized. Thinking they can just hunker down in their homes while organized units roam door to door. Factor in prolonged power outtages, communication outtages, and food shortages- lack of refrigeration. Will be difficult to haul around several hundred lbs of ammo while being flushed out.
Also consider if dc wants this to happen? And will purple hair troops uphold the constitution?

We would be fine, thanks to all those supposed gun crazy white supremacists that reside all over the country. IF we were to be invaded, then this bullshite narrative of how dangerous this group really is would come to light....except those who love the country would realize they are on their side.
I also think the girls with penises would be a huge help as well. Put their mentally unstable asses on the front line and tell them the intruders are right wingers.

Y'all gonna sign up to go die for Tawain or the Donbas region of Ukraine?
Would you sign up to go fight Russia for Europes security?
If someone attacked us or there was a threat to our security then I would die for my country, but I or my sons will never fight for a foreign powers borders.
Ukraine is none of my business. That's a territorial dispute and frankly if Russia put nukes in Mexico I would say we should invade them so I don't understand the pure need to have Ukraine in NATO except for the provocation of war. I and my sons will not spill blood for neo-cons to get rich.
