Actually, this is the reason we haven’t won a war in a really long time. The country has no stomach for ground combat and casualties. We’re great at sending stuff over the horizon and blowing things up though.

That's very naive, the open border has already allowed our enemies army into the country diguised as refugees . The US has already been impregnated. Plus, they can easily acquire the weapons needed to build their militia.

We literally let in millions of people every year with no vetting whatever

Who ever wants to invade doesn't need to do any shooting whatsoever to get in they just hop the border and takeover whatever town they want to.
