I just find it funny when Neal has a passed ball it’s on him but when Milazzo has a passed ball it’s on the pitcher.

This might sound silly but do we start herring on Sunday’s? Maybe move ack to back Holman up

Who is backing up Jump?

Herring is the first guy out with a lead on Friday. He's not waiting to back up Holman on Saturday.

Unfortunate he cost LSU the Florida series. The outlook would be a lot different right now.

You do realize we still had the lead after that play? Florida didn't tie the game until next inning.

And his offense is not good enough to make up for those plays. He's a much better hitter than he was 2 years ago, but he's still a singles only guy if he barrels it up. He's had some good ABs where he works walks, though. 2 times today, I think he walked with 2 outs to turn the lineup over. Once lead to Kling tying it up

Johnson said that it was his best game as a hitter. He needs to go rewatch the CWS last year. Milazzo got hits when NOBODY else did.
He hit right at .300 just last season.
All people look at is “power”. Such a bull shite set of metrics. It is and always be about ON BASE PERCENTAGE for guys that are not massively powerful. Go watch UK this season or the St Louis Cards from the 8”’s.
Geez the analytics people clinch their arse cheeks everytime their team needs a hit and can’t bc all they want is a freaking HR.

If that was all I said I would agree but you took everything and filtered it to one sentence. It is a bull shite metric when that is all your team can do is hit it hard and strike out. UK is so good because they can hit, run and then hit with power when needed. They get on base a ton and put pressure on you because they are fundamentally as sound of a team as there is in college baseball.
They played LSU close just last season in the Supers with FAR less talent.

Agreed. He needs to catch as much as possible. Then LSU will win more games.

_______________

Every passed ball has to be looked at separately to determine fault.
