I will not go into the science because I dont know or understand it honestly.
But I will tell you that I guided for over 25 years and did close to 5,000 fresh water guide trips. During that time, 95% of the really really big fish that were caught on my guide trips were caught in a 4-5 day window around the full moon. Two days before up to two days after
And that is year around

On my last guide trip to Big Lake, our guide said we should avoid the week after the full moon for trout.
