My issue with travel ball is that it is watered down to glorified rec ball now. But instead of paying $75 to the local league you pay $5000 to play.

Why do people always insist on exaggerating when it comes to travel ball? Been doing it for awhile and it would take me a couple of years to accumulate a tab like that

Who is doing this? What org cost 5k for AA ball? Very few orgs that cost that much period very very few. Traction canes only one I know of and they not close to 5k either
And the reason people do lower level is because they are trying to give their kid a chance at HS ball. A decent aa team would destroy 99% of the all star rec teams in this state.
This is first year in last 8 I haven’t coached LL, trust me when I tell you LL is horrible with the worst parents once you are past coach pitch. Nothing but a baby sitting service
