Kinda like Scientology, climatology has become a common religion for many in the US and other first world countries.

They’re are never right about anything. They predicted 3-5 major hurricanes the last few years and it has been relatively quiet.

I was thinking it was cooler than usual for where i am and so far this week the average temp is at -2 from the historical average.

So weve cooled by 2 degrees.

About a decade a go La and TX traded droughts. We sent hay their way one summer, they sent it back the next. Weather runs in cycles, and the closer you are to the equator the hotter you are.

Also no one takes into consideration that pole adjust and shift by hundreds of miles over a few years and then they shift back another way. If you move any location 100 miles in any direction and it affects their time and angle in the sun, you are going to have changes in weather.

Texas is hot as hell. The last few summers have been brutal and getting hotter. Gonna be another hot one and the Gov will keep telling us to turn our thermostats up.

This "forecast" will break temperature trends for the state of Texas. According to NOAA temperature data from all Texas NOAA stations Texas high temperatures are trending down by a little and Texas low temperatures are trending down by a lot:

Hot? During the summer? In Texas?

I guess we need to raise taxes again to cool it down.

I made a little table for the OT. It's starts at CO2 concentration of 415 and temp of 70 degrees F and calculates the new temperature at a new CO2 ppm. This assumes all other atmospheric gases are adjusted downward proportionally as CO2 concentration increases.

ETA: gases and concentrations I used to make the calculations:

Commanches and Apaches were like "no way white man ever come here" in the 18th & 19th century.

We get four months of brutal heat in return for 8 months of mild pleasant weather with a cold spell here and there every year.

Package Deal

Anyone that's from Texas knows this and has accepted it.

Each year, everyone says it's getting hotter. Maybe it is. Or maybe we're just getting older and less tough. Probably a combination of both.

Want perfect weather all year?

Move to SoCal and live amongst the deplorables and pay state taxes and live without any semblance of law and order - I'll take the 4 months of heat.

Timcast IRL played a climate video from the 70's assuring us that we would be in an ice age by the 2000's! Insanity, all if it.
