- We had the most D-1 wins of any school in the country.
- We defeated the #1, #4 and #5 teams in the country
- Were named national champions by at least one NCAA recognized selection service
- we beat the champs of the Orange, Sugar and Rose Bowl.
- The BCS was full exposed for the sham it was and not a true championship determinant
