And they said HVL was a nice addition last year.

yea that 31-6 season with her as a starter was terrible. Oh and we do NOT beat TN, Ole Miss, Bahamas or at A&M without her, among others.

It’s worth noting SC is primarily gonna be working with 6’3 posts next season with Cardoso now gone. So it’s not like lsu is gonna be undersized tbh but adding another quality post who can rebound and has a high motor is still important

Sc will be elite but they also won’t have that massive size advantage that they have in recent years. They have a 6’5 freshmen but she is coming off multiple years of season ending leg injuries. She will play but there isn’t gonna be a size gap this year. Same thing with Texas coming to the SEC. They will be a similar size inside at 6’3 with their posts

Good insight. We need a big that plays tough inside and we are set. She doesn't have to be 6'5, but needs some dog in her. Love the guards we just added. Kim is making sure we are better at PG by grabbing three good ones. At least one will be consistently good.

I wonder if they’ll work Wolfenbarger at 6’5 into a role of playing closer to the basket? Seems like from what I’ve read she prefers to be on the wing .

Since we have our PG and SG addressed with these 3, we need 1 more big in the 6'3-6'4" range, hopefully with experience to start. And I would work Wolf both wing and into the post because of her 6'5" height. That will give us

S Smith- 6'2
Wolf- 6'5
Morrow- 6'1
Del Rosario- 6'6
Amani Bartlett- 6'3
Williams is a wing but still 6'0
Portal big around 6'4

That is enough height for low post C/F/Wing

Add in the 3 new girls at PG/SG
FlauJae Johnson SG 5'10
Poa- G 5'11 (Is she still on the team?)

I totally agree. I think Wolfenbarger, although a wing, will be doing a lot of rebounding on the defensive end. We're really not at a size disadvantage to anyone this time around. Smith is more than capable of playing forward and Del Rosario will be MUCH improved by next season. We have another potential final four team next season.
