If the sovereignty of all 50 States was still respected and the federal government still just a means to defend as needed, work out interstate trade, act on the States' behalf as a foreign agent, settle State vs State disputes, we wouldn't have near the issues we face today.

Central banks
Runaway inflation
Generational welfare
foreign aid
Military Industrial complex
illegal immigration
Foreign wars
Federal taxes/ IRS
behavioral conditioning- digital prisons- surveillance
and on, and on, and on......

all brought about by a never ending upward spiral in central power.

Remember, if you give a government a single power, they will use that power to create a second power, they will use those two to create a third, those three for a fourth, and every power to create gets easier with every power created.
