The US actually underwrites China's internal security. In particular, the US Navy. We make sure they have enough fuel to keep the lights on and the Taxis moving....not to mention that China imports fully 1/3 of its food supply from overseas.

Well, the Taliban in Afghanistan for starters.

If you mean head to head without politicians fricking around probably zero, maybe Chyna due to their numbers. Or would depend on location.

No one can come here and kick our asses, they’ll get some of the cities - New York, San Fran, LA, etc but once they get out of the urban areas they run into Cooter, Cletus, and Jeb and find out it’s not really worth it.

Hell, last week at the range I was training with a group of fellow veterans that could Harris an occupying force into withdrawal and there were only 8 of us.

Germany can’t even field a single combat ready armored unit, and the leopard’s performance has been embarrassing in Ukraine. The luftwaffe is a joke as well.

Thankfully we aren’t a party to that ludicrous institution and aren’t subject to its jurisdiction.

None.

Regardless of our recent shortcomings in military recruiting, our military spending is at an all time high, and our military industrial complex is soaring.

Combine that with the number of armed citizens in certain areas and demographics of the country, and a feasible land invasion becomes impossible without total loss.

It will never happen anyway because the most powerful and war-ready nations on Earth all have the terrifying deterrent of world-ending nuclear stockpiles.

Overall our military weapons are the best in the world. It's mainly because our allies don't spend money on upgrades because 'America will handle it.'
And our enemies have huge corruption problems with their military budgets.

OTOH, if we continue to lose white males in order to achieve diversity I'm not sure the sophisticated hardware will be used effectively.

Might take them some time, but if you don’t recognize that the Taliban kicked our butt then I can’t help you.. I guess it depends on the context- can any other country invade the US and take over, absolutely not. Can we exert our will, say with respect to Taiwan if China should choose to invade- that’s definitely in doubt….
