I think the joke that has stuck with me the most is Glaser's joke about Jeff Ross.
"Are you supposed to be pickled? I'm so confused"
I'm gonna have to find a way to use that at some point in my life. Great insult.

Comedy Central would have neutered it big time, plus cut half of it out to fit commercials
Comedy Central roasts went downhill at the end. "We roast the ones we love" is just became a lie and it ended up being a random celebrity publicity tour. The Rob Lowe roast was the worst of these offenders (Jewel? Ann Coulter?)
This was closer to form. Everyone on stage was either a professional commedian or had an actual tie to Brady. The two semi-exceptions were some of the weak spots: Will Ferrell (Comedic actor, not necessarily comedian) and Ben Affleck (Actor, but at least he has New England heritage and is a fan of Patriots, so it's not quite random).
The Tom and Burt bit sucked, but those are actual comics so you can at least justify why they would be invited.

Bunch of simps on Mad Dogg radio bashing the roast and bitch arse Russo for selling out.
Babchick is the only reason that station stays on my tuner. Eat it Russo.

Yeah at some point they just became mean instead of “mean but in good fun.” And to your point, one of the best roasts was the roast of Seth Roger because it was basically all of his friends roasting him and they were actually mostly funny. As annoying as Jonah Hill is sometimes, he destroyed in his set.
I finished up the Brady one.
The Kill Tony dude was pretty funny.
Affleck was terrible.
Peyton Manning was good.
Gronk was annoying but some of his lines hit. The funniest thing about Gronk is just how consistently stupid he is.
Robert Kraft was a little awkward; did he have a stroke or something? It seemed like he was slurring his words a little bit. But I enjoyed his Brady story though.
Kevin Hart got worse and worse for me though. I hated how every time he got back on the mike he felt like he has to grade the previous set and then “get even” and talk shite about the last performer for several minutes. And very little of it was funny and it really killed the flow of the show. And him getting drunker as the night went on didn’t help.
I thought Brady did a good job with his rebuttals too. He seems like a fairly likable dude despite me thinking he’s a weird dude.

Tony Hinchcliffe went hard in the paint.

Giraldo was my favorite. Did not know he graduated from Harvard Law and this:
quote:wiki
In 1993, Giraldo provided pro bono defense counsel services to his friend and fellow comedian Jeffrey Ross, who was charged with inciting a riot. Ross was performing at a comedy club on Long Island when a member of the audience pulled out a toy gun that looked real. Ross grabbed the gun and fought with the man for control; he was arrested in the incident.
When Ross went to court to face the charges, "Greg volunteered to be my attorney as a favor. I remember we slept in his parents' basement in Queens. We drove to court in a Jeep and had dirty blue sport jackets on. It took him two tries, but he got the case dismissed."

What freakin eye drops were all those guys using? They were drinking tequila for 3 hours with no red eye.

That was also the best he’s sounded in years. He takes an hour to get a sentence out in a media interview these days

Man a lot of Kevin Hart fans on here.
Maybe you don't like Rogan or Katt Williams but it's an interesting watch on how comics know the real deal about other comics and how some will do anything , some performers are installed.... Including initiating him by making Kevin Hart wear a dress on TV....and play the fool. .There's a theory that once they get these men in a dress, they own you....and he came out of nowhere to be the biggest comic in the world? Please. Comics aren't buying this.

I thought Bill Belichick missed a golden opportunity to say "They asked me to roast Tom and I said hell yeah. I've been roasting his arse for 20 years"
The Nikki Glazer Gronk joke was great and also when Kevin followed it up with acting like Gronk.

I feel asleep when KK got up there. Randy had one joke and I was getting tired. I plan on resuming it tonight. Should I skip her or any others? According to the thread, I should skip Tom/Bert, Affleck, and Ferrell. No one said anything about KK.

Coach Bill looked nervous as hell. Weird as shite because that dude has been in front of the camera his entire life.
Dana White was terrible. Kevin Hart sucked. Tony Hitchcliffe was awesome. Tom and that other guys set was awful and Segura is funny as hell. Glaser was awesome. Will Ferrell was terrible. Jeff Ross was ok and had some funny jokes but he laughs at himself way too much.
