Nothing chilling at all. They are telling the civilians everything they need to know in order to save their lives. If the family refuses, the family dies.

That is not cowardice. They are extremely brave, fighting against superior forces. The cowardice charge was hurled against the American Revolutionists as well. Remember? They refused to stand in the lane exchanging volleys with the more numerous and better trained British. The Palestinians are fighting in the only way that they stand a chance - against superior American-supplied technology and money.
I hope Hamas loses and gets killed down to the last man. But I don't underestimate them by calling them cowards. They are not.
