For choice? That’s pretty insane.

It's all theater, nobody actually cares. We are all fat, dumb, and happy with the latest technology to actually pull out the guillotine. Until someone does something that upsets the unsteady balance of power we currently have, both sides will point at each other as the problem, go home, and watch reality TV while scrolling through their IPhone.

Nothing is going to happen unless there is an actual collapse of the economy or food supply.
“Already long ago, from when we sold our vote to no man, the People have abdicated our duties; for the People who once upon a time handed out military command, high civil office, legions — everything, now restrains itself and anxiously hopes for just two things: bread and circuses.”
Give them bread and circuses and they will never revolt.

The ground beef price didn’t seem horrible.

I mean I'm part of it too. I've let myself get fat, watch cooking based reality TV, and only really spew my opinions on Tigerdroppings. Even if I wanted a political position, my long posting history on this forum has permanently stopped my ability to do that.

Check out their tobacco prices. I thought we were bad here.

socialism, opening your borders to 3rd world immigrants, and prioritizing the feelings of said immigrants is costly.

That’s what I was thinking, if you take into account this is CAD and not USD it might be high but I wouldn’t call it “insane”

Shhh! The baws think they got a bunch of liberal cucks on the run north of the border. Trudeau let his herds get smaller and didn't have the foresight to create better weather and market conditions. Idiot!

Good thing I don't live there but beef prices in Canada are insane.
That’s one potty mouthed little bitch. She sounds like she is the same type of Canadian that doesn’t miss a chance to tell US citizens how terrible we are and how much better Canada is than the US. You get what you vote for. Suck it bitch.

Those are strip loins- NY Strips. $11.95/lb is not bad.

Converting kilograms to pounds and Canadian currency to USD, it worked out to about $3.65 a pound for ground beef. How does that compare to here?
You converted the pricing to "here" USD. The Canadian price is $4.98 per pound for ground beef.

Have you ever met southern conservative women? I can assure you they curse like sailors. Everyone curses regardless of political affiliation.

And for people here to understand what $4.98 CA$ is, you need to convert the value to USD, which is $3.65.
You do know Canada uses a currency named "dollar", too, and it's not the US currency also named "dollar", right?
Posted on 5/8/24 at 9:53 am to SlowFlowPro
That's incorrect. The Canadian dollar is weak against the USD. $4.98 USD is what Canadians are actually paying for the ground beef after conversion. Are you sure you know how this works? That's expensive ground beef.

quote:Probably not, those Alberta oilfield baws you meet aren't that representative of Canada. For every one of those you have 2 liberal city dwellers that never escape their bubbles. The Canadians had a head start on the blue haired social justice warrior thing. They were doing it before 2010.
bet Canada's elections are rigged.
