These would all be valid points if we lost consistently by 1 run instead of getting run ruled. Putting points on the board is our problem, followed by terrible Sunday pitching, and neither Milazzo nor Kling can fix these 2 problems.
This is what happens when you look at just numbers, and not the full picture.

He may be in the game more with our better pitchers.
He was. But that does not matter when you have "it"

Kling is not going anywhere
Well, I mean, he's going to the minor leagues after about eight more games.

I mean he’s right though.
We’re not struggling in out of conference play and our OOC SOS is terrible.
We’re struggling in the SEC and so is Kling
List the players sitting on the bench for him to play that aren't struggling though.

So a .170 batting average and .291 OBP is what you consider improving.

Watching you show up in every single Milazzo thread and having to squirm for two straight years now has been very enjoyable.

Well considering 2 weeks ago you were arguing it was .150 then yes. Raising it to .170 would be improving. And if you take his at bats since April, which you refuse to do, that will also show improvement.
But hey, you know best. Maybe you can convince the guy you wanted to get the next shot to rejoin the team.

You mean the post that was 100% accurate?

Kling should be in CF every SEC game, Bingham and Brown et al are nowhere quick enough to be playing CF in those games when LSU is trying to limit opponents runs. I don't give a shite where he bats in the lineup as his outfield D is superior to any other guy on the roster. You can't make a guy with pedestrian speed fast and Kling has a ton of range.

I bet the bama and ole miss pitching staffs agree with you 100%

Anyone remember Stevenson's stats in his soph. year? Then, his junior year? From a Rant bust to All SEC in a year's time.

Your dumb arse has been claiming he hasn’t hit sec pitching for 2 years. By some quick calculations that would be in the 270 plate appearance range. The kid has 92 freaking plate appearances.
Then you go on to say there has to be someone on the bench that can hit at least .280, yet Tommy Tanks is only hitting .272 on the season in conference play lol.
You don’t know shite and it’s apparent. All you contribute to this board is talking shite about Kling and Neal.

Hey i would be frustrated too if i sat the bench all year behind a .170 hitter. Hopefully we dont lose any more potential starting cfers.

Sorry I upset you Mr Kling. He played last year and this year and did not hit SEC pitching either year so how many years is that to you?

Now show us the teams Kling led off against.
Posted on 5/8/24 at 6:50 pm to Rudy40
quote:Klinger led off in both wins against Missouri and both wins against Auburn, so at least 4 of the wins were in SEC play.
Kling led off a good bit early in the season against non SEC teams when LSU was beating lesser teams and piled up stats. In SEC play he is hitting .170 with a .291 OBP. Both very low.
Kling is fine in midweek games but a bust on weekends.
That does beg the question: If the plan was to bat him 8th or 9th in the SEC, why was he leading off so many games in OOC and midweek?
