you don't want to look like the fat strong man at the gym but cleans, squats, deadlifts translate to golf and i bet the majority of the tour has a routine these days

I bet lifting was not nearly as common pre-Tiger as it is now. Bryson, Rahm, Brooks, etc are pretty big guys.

correct.

The PED system is well organized enough for professional athletes to have as much access as possible.

But why would people follow that lead if he was better before the juice? You said they should all do roids. Why?

I dont know the reason he did it but I imagine roids have helped more people in sports than it hurt.

My point is that the pga didnt seem to care so if you want to do them as a pro golfer, just do them.

Personal anecdote. Yeah, I know, I am nowhere close to being the golfers these guys are, not even on the same planet. When I work out upper body and lift weights, getting yoked, I am so tight it ruins my golf game. Just quit lifting weights because I'm an old man dad with nobody to impress anymore and loosened up and my golf game improved greatly.

You have to be extremely flexible with lower body power to be a good golfer.

Rory is a midget, BTW. It's amazing he has the distance he has. He's just able to channel all of that 180 lb dripping wet body all into the ball. Great timing and great hand eye coordination. The guy is like a little midget wound up spring exploding into the ball.

How about mind altering drugs? Some guys mentioned Beta Blockers or adderall while playing? I've never tried adderall and golf, does it give you 100% focus and awesomeness? or do you get jumpy and lose your feel?

I think it was vertigo that got Duvall.

That will definitely do it. I’ve got a golfing buddy who was about a par golfer who got vertigo from antibiotics he took after a knee surgery, at least they think that’s what caused it, and he could barely hit the ball anymore. Damn shame to finally be retired and can’t enjoy something you love. I miss golfing with him.

I didn’t know about the vertigo with Duvall, I just knew he got jacked up and they talked about how it affected his game. My bad for the misinformation, I don’t mind being corrected when I’m in error.
