They don't have control on what the supplier ships.

Yes they do, you order a certain size tender and certain size chicken. I do it every single day. Popeyes chooses to order small tenders instead of large or jumbo and 24 count chicken.

No, I order for my restaurant. My point is Popeyes does have a choice on what size tenders and chicken their restaurants receive. They willingly choose to order the smallest possible to get more pieces per case and make the most profit. Tenders come in a 40 pound case and when you order small tenders you get a lot more but I rather order jumbo and not have every customer bitching all the time.

But you are paying more for the jumbo and passing that extra cost to the customer?

I would think Popeyes would have to do the same thing. And there goes their competitive pricing.

I was done with Popeye's when they quit selling the dirty rice. It was the best thing they had.
Don't think they did in LA.

I’ve never seen so many baws cry like bitches over damn chicken fingers. It’s like TD users get their jollies by complaining about Canes.

It’s freaking chicken tenders. Chicken tenderloins battered and fried. Go buy chicken breasts at the grocery and see what you’re paying for them.

Yes, I remember when I got a 5 finger box for under $5 and had the option for honey mustard too. But that was 25 years ago. Y’all think prices don’t change?

I'll be the 5th for you. Blue Store is so damn good bruh. And cheap.

I've never had a Popeye's tender in my life. Bone-in or bust. I only eat it maybe once a month though because fried chicken.

There seems to have been some industry wide memorandum to shrink chicken tenders.

Chicken Express in Texas used to be my go to, but now they’re scrawny too.

I must be special. I always get an extra strip if I go inside the Popeyes across from LaTech. I don't deal with the fools on the North side of town at the Farmerville exit. .

Today, they would have to steal the chickens to be able to do that.
