Thing is everybody in the NBA can hit free throws at 85-90%.

Doing it in a game is just an entirely different matter. Try hitting free throws after running up and down the court, fighting through screens and switches, and getting hit not to mention dealing with the crowd noise and pressure of the situation.

You couldn't make 85 outta 100 with no pressure and no fatigue. Pressure and fatigue don't care how much money you make either. Dumb thread is dumb.

Can you imagine mush mouth trying to explain how an insurance policy works. He would been just as bad as attempting FT’s.

But lets go on on Allstar weekend to promote Slam Dunks and shooting 3 vs a women. when we need to line up and see how many FTs we can make in a row.

I think you may be on to something. Sorry I downvoted you in almost every comment in this thread, you deserved it, but this makes sense.

During the NBA all-star events, they should have a background contest where the best FT shooters get 100 FT shots to decide the NBA FT crown. Since that is boring TV, they keep it in the background during the 3 point contest, slam dunk contest, and skills competition while providing updates on the background FT challenge.

I'm saying they should be able to shoot the ball in a very high rate when 90% games come down to a FT.

What? Less than 10% of NBA games come down to a free throw.

So shooting the ball in the hoop/scoring at a high rate is boring?

But Curry vs a women is exciting? or having 3 old dudes hold up a 10 sign after a dunk we've all seen, or some skills shite where the player a heaving "passes" into a net.

Can't make FT, get the frick out

It’s not a free throw competition.

You think you can go find 5 guys not in the league right now that can shoot 90% and beat any of the teams in the league right now?
