What the '14 baseball team is shaping up to look like

Rumbelow, LaMarche, Jones, and Eades are going to end up signing if you asked me now and right before the deadline.
Ross is more around 75/25 to sign.
Off the bat this is what the team will likely shape up to be in 2014. I'm not going to do the numbers game because attrition will play a role during the late summer.
Don't be surprised if Mainieri is in the market for a JUCO pitcher to add.
Off the bat we notice the extremely deep outfield that may see a guy transfer out or switch positions.
The possible loss of Ross hurts, but again Chinea's offense should trump what Ross put up this past year. Look out for Barash here, he can play and stepped into LSU when he should have been graduating high school.
C- Chinea, Barash
A ton of options at first base going into the fall. Tyler Moore or Nick Longhi should wrap up this spot with the other DHing.
1B- Moore, Longhi
If Robertson or Hale step in to the 2B spot LSU's not going to be hurting defensively and may even see improved numbers from Jones spot.
2B- Robertson, Hale, Dean
It's Alex Bregman
SS- Bregman
Ibarra and Bregman are going to make up on of the best defensive left sides of the diamond that LSU has seen in a while.
3B- Ibarra, Zardon
The entire outfield will be left handed bats next year minus Foster. I think DeHart may get a shot at RF with his power from the left side. Going to be some major competition at these 3 spots.
LF- Laird, McMullen
CF- Stevenson, Fraley
RF- DeHart, Foster
DH- anyone from the 6 outfield spots
You know what you're getting from Nola, Glenn will continue to improve and Poche could have a similar entrance to collegiate ball compared to Aaron two years ago.
Weekend guys- Nola, Glenn, Poche
I like Broussard in long relief, but Mainieri may start him in the Sunday spot to open the year.
Long relief- Broussard, McCune, Person
Midweek- Williams, Bugg
In conclusion...next years team will be spearheaded by two superstars, talented freshmen, and speed. The pitching depth will be relatively untested and inexperienced but with Dunn the dropoff shouldn't deter the Tigers from reaching Omaha next year.

I was waiting for someone more knowledgable on our situation than myself to do a write up. Nice job.

Do we see a little more hit&run, stolen bases, and small ball after losing Katz and Rhymes and having so much speed?

You're assuming Palladino is gone?

Well we don't know the midweek matchups yet, but we can assume this: a pair of Tulane games, a Southeastern, Southern Miss in the WPC, a couple Nicholls State games, a Southern or 2, Grambling, a couple ULL games, maybe a Northwestern State, and a couple others.

Three freshmen
What made you decide to put them in that order. How does Dakota compare to his brother coming out of HS, Blake started all 56 games as a freshman

the cajuns return everyone except #3 pitcher. see ya'll in lafayette for the regional next year.

Adam, do you really think Stevenson starts again next year? Just hard to imagine unless he figures out how to hit well above the mendoza line. Cant have a sub .200 hitter in the lineup once again. I like the idea of saving him for games that are close towards the end and subbing him in for defense.
I think the OF next year is a crap shoot to predict
McMullen/Laird/DeHart or Fraley
DeHart/Laird/Fraley (McMullen DH again)
DeHart/Stevenson/Laird
Foster possibly thrown in mix???
Just no idea what will happen there.

Wish we could get him back as a great potential closer. But per this tweet, it sounds like he won't be back:
