Because he plays an individual sport like tennis? Foolish me, I thought he had 52 teammates and 10 coaches are also having to contribute to a victory or a loss.

There's this thing called a defense. As a Falcons fan, I know you're not used to seeing one this year, just like us.

You don't seem very intelligent. New Orleans' schedule has been especially tight this year, with an average margin of victory of (0.7). Most who have watched the Saints this year would note that the Saints have not been blown out other than by Dallas and haven't really blown out other teams this year. If anything, the lack of garbage time that Brees has played in would strengthen your argument, as QBs with weaker defenses generally outperform in some of these categories, for obvious reasons. However, you seem a little too dense to be able to conclude that without someone else pointing it out.

Interesting, I disagree with the implication that this is a relevant stat, given that it is a team statistic and doesn't take into account other factors such as defensive play and the running game, for instance. However, given that, what do you think of Cam Newton's performance this year? Also, was Matt Ryan a mediocre quarterback last year?

Speaks to how valuable he is to this team. Without Brees and a truly mediocre QB, We would be a 3-win team at best

Carson Palmer/Drew Stanton/Ryan Lindley also have as many wins as Aaron Rodgers, so that really matters when evaluating a QB.
