Noody in their right mind thinks that Nick Saban will leave Alabama to go to WVU. That would be like leaving the yankees to coach the birmingham barons. Not going to happen. I think he actually likes Alabama. The only job he would have left Alabama for is the LSU job if Miles had gone to Michgan and I honestly think he would have gone back to LSU this year. I think now he will stay at BAMA until he retires.

It's 10 and I've had a few. Sorry to stress those brain cells but I think most people can get the point.

Scoop, I would not have left the Dolphins for Alabama....just sayin! No person in their right mind would jump ship from Atlanta after just 13 weeks for ar-KANSAS....just sayin. Coaches do strange things and lie A LOT. I won't believe anything until WVU hires their new coach.

Sorry Scoop, but you have that backwards. FWIW, I don't think he will leave either, but that comparo is WAY off.

Why? Id leave bama for WV if I was him. His home town, and he wont have to rebuild a program. WV is a powerhouse in the Big East. He'd need 5 or 7 years to contend in Bama. Next year he could contend with WV.

More like leaving the Braves to coach the Cubs. The Braves were great at one time, and the Cubs have come close to greatness recently.

I don't mean to gang up, scoop, I'm just sayin'. You're probably the most reasonable Bama fan I've seen.

For the record, I don't think he goes to WVU either. There's a reason people say they're "FROM" somewhere. Les Miles is "from" Ohio, but apparently has no intention of returning except for a visit.

I think a more accurate analogy would be "liking leaving Dallas Cowboys to coach the Houston Texans".
Yankees to the Barons is waaaaay too much of a difference and not proportional to a Bama/WVU shift.

Love ya Scoop, but over the last 10 years, Bama has been more like the Barons and WV more like the Yankees.

In today's football, it is what do you have know, not what you had 10 years ago or what you might have tomorrow.
