Adam Carolla got called a bigot for saying the key to ending poverty is family and education

Well, I'm conservative and I don't oppose diversity for the sake of it. At the end of the day, I'm not going to be alive forever, so let the dice roll where they may!

Your sentence is a textbook example of a direct contradiction. You can't be conservative without wanting to conserve something.

And this is how we know you don't have kids.

American definition.

If I do have kids, I'll make sure they at least one language with the possibility they may find better opportunities in another country. No nation holds a monopoly on freedom.

Gangsters aren't gonna move out. So that means that no matter how purdy Democrats make some of those shitholes, no one is gonna move there.

I was listening to Dan Bongino the other day and he ran for office in Baltimore and knows lots about the particular districts. He said that when children from poorer areas where allowed to go to charter schools and leave the pitiful ones, most of them thrived and excelled.
The poor kids who are left in horrible public schools are doomed to failure.

There's a Baltimore in every state

But they went with THE Baltimore for "The Wire". Makes me wonder. Not sure about what yet, just in general...but I'll worry about that later.

Anyhow, I am going to give The Wire a shot now...passed on it all these years, now it's of interest.

In TN the poor whites live in Grundy Co and the poor blacks live in Shelby Co. if you travel to Williamson Co and have tags from either you are getting pulled over, at best getting tailed until you leave Williamson Co.

think gentrification is awesome, but it doesn’t fix any long term problems for the country.

When you say horrible public schools, are you directing that characterization or criticism towards the teachers and admin ? ,....or are you saying the overall culture of the school is horrible, which is really saying "all the bad kids thus doomed? or both?

What is a horrible public school? what makes it "horrible"

The problem is demographics. These are just the symptoms of diversity and multiculturalism. Gentrification would clean that city up in a heartbeat, but it would require soldier like police for physically removing those interfering with the productive use of property.

Schools with bad teachers and administrators, physically ran down, in crime ridden neighborhoods. Schools with little to no parent involvement. Schools that don't enforce or teach any discipline. Schools with no standards or expectations.
