Field temperature even worse with heat index. How do they keep both sides from heat exhaustion in that kind of environment?

That’s fricking hot. The only thing I’ll say is at least it’s hotter than Africa down in BR too so it’s not like we shouldn’t be used to it

If I’m a band member I’m staying hydrated. Don’t want another Tennessee

Secondary market tickets to the game will be more available and cheaper. A lot of old folks in Texas aren’t going to wanna sit around in that oven.

Meh. Both teams ought to be used to the heat. I don't see it as an advantage for either. Maybe the team that has more depth can rotate more players.

Summers in central Texas were worse than Summers in Iraq.

I was in BR this past weekend for the game and it was a welcome relief from the Austin heat

Tropical system in the gulf could spread rain into S/Central Texas by the weekend.

LSU is loaded with players with NFL physique, depth and have been training in south Louisiana. And they play fricking physical!! I like our odds.

Austin is much more arid/dry than BR. That 98 is not quite as nasty as it sounds.

I sat outside watching my HSer practice for 2.5hrs yesterday in 98-100 degree. Wind kicked up a bit and it wasn’t crazy. No sweat either.....
