Hold Trump's future and possibly the future of the nation in their hands.

Does this give you confidence or scare you?

Frankly it scares the shite out of me.

What will they try to squeeze out of Trump?

What would they accept from the Democrats to end the Trump era?

If the roles were reversed the Democrats would have already stood together and said they would NEVER vote to remove their President under these ridiculous charges.

Get some sleep man. They won’t go down that road. They know Donnie big dick is their daddy - most of them that is.

when I hear morons like Sen Kennedy and Sen Graham speak, I wonder about who thought it wise to put such men of no intelligence and no integrity in high office.

That's why it's good to have friends in your own party. Trump is going to have to deal with it. But should he be removed from office, our country will survive. You know he could also lose the upcoming election outright with the same overall result. We have to be ready to move ahead in this country. If Trump is impeached and removed, it will break him. He's never had a boss.

Senators I don't trust: Romney, McSalley, Murkowski, Collins, Burr, Sasse, Rubio, Alexander. There are more but these are off the top of my head

I think the senators up in 2020 in red states, even if they are swampy, like Cornyn in TX, can be trusted. They are writing their death wish if they go along.

But I fear the ones in purple or blue states. McSalley being a prime example, watch her go along with it thinking it will pander to those in Arizona. All it will do is get the Republicans in AZ not to vote for her, while she gains little votes from indies and democrats.

Also in the House of Reps. I think you'll, sadly, find Republicans in competitive districts come out in support for impeachment thinking it will help save their own arse(it won't).

But people in congress are morons.

I shudder to think what would happen if Senate Republicans turn on Trump. If that happens I could see myself just never voting for anything again and becoming completely devoid of all things politics.

Is there a way to just surrender your voting registration out of protest? Because literally, in the event this happens... what's the point anymore?

Unless the GOP is stupid, they will not allow it. It will spell the end of them and the party

They aren’t stupid and know Trump is a cash cow for them. They’ll fall in line when push comes to shove.

Why? They've rolled over, kowtowed and defended the sleazy fat bastard from day one. The only way he'll be convicted in the Senate is if he kills someone in plain view. Even then, Moscow Mitch and his band of sycophants would find a way to excuse his behavior.
