The idea that a whistleblower complaint should require first hand knowledge is pro-corruption and anti-transparency.

What does the law require?

If this individual were an actual whistleblower, the CIA would call for his execution.

According to Dems it doesn’t allow the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the USA to ask another sitting PRESIDENT if a US Politician was involved in a foreign corruption scandal. But anyone that doesn’t like Trump can file heresy complaints.

Hear say evidence is generally not admissible in court and as someone pointed out, the constitution gives us all the right, even the president, to face our accusers....

Horse shite

Then any made up innuendo bullshite can get all the trappings of being from a hallowed "whistleblower".

That is the stupidest suggestion I have heard all day.

The 6th Amendment of that pesky Bill of Rights guarantees the accused the right to face his accuser.

That applies even to slime like you.

Someone told me that you’re a pedophile and diddle your kids. I think I’m gonna file a WB complaint against you.

Apparently the law required first hand knowledge to qualify as a whistleblower. Until they changed the rules a week before this complaint was submitted.

Do u even read bro?

You think there is logic here.

There isn't.

The reason a WB needs first hand info is to eliminate thousands of WB's saying "I heard it through the grapevine". Now people can claim they heard something and make up anything. Heresay is not allowed in a court of law. You set yourself up for many lawsuits if you retaliate against a person due to 2nd hand info.

This change to the WB Rule was to start Hoax 2.0 There is no other reason. The Deep State lost their Rushia collusion now they are trying Ukraine collusion.
In the end this will make them look worse than Hoax 1.0 and Kavanaugh X 10.
It is utterly absurd that anyone would want to impeach a prez due to a phone conversation in which he was requesting another prez honor a treaty between the 2 countries that was signed 20 years ago by Bill Clinton.

I heard a guy say you raped someone.

You ready to go to jail? First hand knowledge isn't needed. Just trust what I said. Off to jail with you. At minimum my accusations should be taken as true and plastered all over your life. Even if we never get to a trial.

It does not require first hand knowledge. It just has to
quote:

information which the employee or applicant reasonably believes evidences—
(i) a violation of any law, rule, or regulation, or
(ii) gross mismanagement, a gross waste of funds, an abuse of authority, or a substantial and specific danger to public health or safety;
