Fulton has looked phenomenal. Stingley (not emery) had his worst game of the year and still graded out in the 80’s according to PFF (I heard Cody warsham say that).

I don’t know why we run so much zone tonstart games because the adjustment is always to switch to man and we lock everyone down.

he had all day to throw on way too many plays. When we did rush more than 4 several times they hit the back or screen for nice gains.
Mullen seems to know what Aranda is up to.

Even though he is classless trash Dan Mullen is one of the best offensive minds in college football. He took their mismatch, Pitts who is a great player, and built everything off of him. With a player like that who can do so many different things it starts to pull everyone’s attention one way so that anytime you bring your change up plays they’re very successful as well. It was a great plan by Mullen but 95% of their chunk plays came off of our mistakes. Missed tackles, players loafing and watching, quitting on plays and guys just blowing assignments.

Yes. Much better than anyone expected. Amazing Mullen had him sitting behind Franks

Franks will GPS and find the portal, he ain't getting his starting job back. He might send out some post cards to all those teams that recruited him in the past hoping they still love him.

We put too little pressure on Trask and gave him way too much time to throw.

Trask is a lot like Joe Burrow.
Gutsy, tough, and last night pin point accurate in a hostile environment.
Tip of the hat to him.

Geaux Tigers!

Mullen did a great job of setting him up with quick throws and screens, we got burned a few times being too aggressive early. Which is why I'm shocked to see so many bitching that we didn't send pressure early, we did, they had the ball out of his hands very quickly early on. Sending pressure and getting pressure are 2 very different things. Gotta give Florida credit for a good offensive gameplan.

He was well off his season average on completion % (59 to 68) and a yard off of his yards per attempt (7.9 to 8.9). He has put up solid numbers, but our Defense actually held him to a less than average performance, albeit fairly small sample size. A couple of bounces here and there and LSU has a couple of more picks and its really running away, though a two TD win over a top 10 opponent is nothing to sneeze at.

Trask was making throws that couldn’t be defended.

Yes, some of it was that, he put some throws in very tight windows, but, our technique is terrible. When we plan man we are either way off the line of scrimmage or let the receivers get off the line clean. You can't let this happen at any level or you are going to get lit up.

I still see missed assignments, Delpit was supposed to give inside help on one of the slants caught for a td, instead he bit on the inside man.

WE CAN'T CATCH A frickING INTERCEPTION!!!!!

Not to take anything away from Trask, but the reason he looked that good were his WRs.

They ran good routes and found the soft spots making it that much easier for him.

More than pressure (or lack thereof), that gave him a comfort zone. The WRs made what he saw downfield much like practice.

And they are good at catching balls too. Not as good as ours, but good nonetheless.

Mullen is a really good play caller and very good and putting his players in a position to make plays. Trask is a baller. I was super impressed. Tough, both physically and mentally and smart.
