70 is perfect open the moonroof on the platinum F250 weather.

A former coworker of mine used to live in New Orleans.
He told me he once mowed his lawn on Christmas Day.

70 is perfect for a winter high temp. Maybe 75 would be better.

Ten day forecasts are noted for their accurateness. I'm sure this will be correct.

why can’t we have cold weather on Christmas Day?

Idk what it did in South La, but a couple of years ago we had lows in the 20s and highs in the mid 30s during Christmas with cloudy skies in NELA. It was nice at first building a fire Christmas Eve, watching Christmas movies, drinking egg nog, playing card games, and then being nice and cozy Christmas morning. Then it got miserable real fricking quick as more and more company showed up and everyone was huddled inside with nowhere to go.

Wasn't there a thread a week or so ago saying there was a strong chance of a winter storm on Xmas?

Once again I will be wearing shorts and why can’t we have cold weather on Christmas Day?

That's not much warmer than the normal high this time of year. In New Orleans, the average high in December is the mid 60s.

I’m honestly okay with that.

It's showing mid 60's on the GFS now so there is hope.
