Didn't he give up 50 to Arkansas to lose the last game of the regular season? Our defense gave up alot points in 2007. He wasn't that good.

That was in triple OT. Aranda gave up 70+ in OT.
Aranda also gave up 66 to Ohio State in 2014. Melvin Gordon ran wild over Pelini one time. Plumlee ran wild over LSU one time with Aranda.
Kevin Steele got fired from Clemson because he allowed 70 VS WVU.
All of them are good coaches.
EVERYONE HAS BAD DAYS. However Pelini’s statical success at LSU has basically not been matched since, except for 2011.
