I believe its like the Manhattan project, testing all sorts of things they have limited knowledge of the scope of what they are dealing with.

There is a theory out there that one of the people from the lab got infected with bat blood and or urine, went to the hospital and unprotected health personnel contracted it and it spread from there.

It is a fact they had filed for a vaccine back in January with the help of a scientist from the states, I believe Harvard?. How on earth, in the name of research, could you be working on a vaccine for a deadly virus and think nothing is wrong with a little research, as an American? The thought process of some of these "academics" is mind boggling.
