Take two pics of yourself right now with your phone. One selfie mode and then normal with the front camera. Both pics come out the same.

Not sure which stance you agree with, but if someone takes a picture of you with your phone and then you take a selfie with the same phone, the images will be the same. In other words, it WILL NOT be flipped. It's really easy to prove, just take pictures of yourself both ways.

Nope. The phone i have had a lens on front and back. When you activate the one on screen for a selfie, the image is reversed, have many pics like that...not missing an eye though

Apparently it can go either way, depending on the phone. Some phones flip the photo after its taken so it'll be true to real life, other phones save the pic mirrored as it appears live when you're actually trying to take the photo.
